HELP! MASSIVE LAG (ClientSided, not sure if its also the server.)

Hey, i am having HUGE amounts of lag now. if you guys font fix this, i wont play...

I'm pretty sure that the lag is server side. You see, there is a difference between lag and low FPS rate:
1) Lag is when things you do in multiplayer don't happen immediately
2) Low FPS rate is when your game turns into a slideshow.
Try doing these things:
Delete your /bin folder and get a fresh download.
Delete OpenAL32 and OpenAL64 in /natives (actually just fixes the sound)
Update Java to the latest version.
Otherwise, it may be that Jonno, our server host (or one of his family) is downloading something.
Or that he ran out of data allowance.
1GB per hour x 12 hours a day x 2.5 days a week x 4 weeks in a month = 120GB a month.
Which is pretty much Optus's minimal plan.

1) i have 1 gig every 10 mins equalling an enormous download rate and allowance.
2) with 13 people playing you all have 1/13 of my download rate which is now struggling to keep up because it has 13 times as much downloads as you would be getting
3)If you have a slow internet you will be getting lag because your download rate may not keep up even if my internet would normally handle it.
4) 1.8.1 Is such a glitchy update with experience Orbs and everything right now that it has just made the server.jar SOOOO much more laggy
So don't give me crap about it when my server is running on 4 Gigs of ram and has 95% free when there's 20 people playing and everybody's going "aw Jonno up the ram its sooo laggy" ITS YOUR PROBLEM MORE THEN MINE!!!
So what Im going to do is have a player limit of 8 until notch does something (if he ever does!) and If your not on by the time that its full then to bad. I'd also appreciate it if you wouldn't use mods like mini-mapper 20 hearts fly mod (witch although works on server, you will get kicked within 2 seconds automatically) and X-ray MOD not texture pack (although don't use both) Especially X-ray because it actually makes the server end up running twice as much as it normally would beacuse it has to generate the invisible terrain to. in other words DONT USE MODS ON MY SERVER!!!! ( might i add that u should really be congratulating my server for still being able to keep with the MASSIVE amounts of download traffic its giving off and not crashing, like i sad again its not the ram, it has had 20 people playing and it stilll has 95% of the ram its allowed to use free.)

the lag is with the client
ie framerate=0.1
esc takes 15 secs to open menu
chunks DO NOT LOAD

From now on, Treat the server as if it was on 'Hardcore' Mode.
Take death seriously (as usual)
If you die, TAKE CARE, Enter area slowly (this probably could reduce the lag)
