Redstone Forum

Before posting (which means clicking "send" at the
bottom when you've finished typing up a new topic),
please make sure that:

- Your post actually says something about redstone,
be it a question, an idea or a contraption you have made.

- Your post gets to the point in less than a paragraph.
When you're asking a question, some background information
is helpful. Some people are going to say TL;DR (too long, didn't read) if your description too long.
(eg. So I'm making a door in my house, and I have two
buttons on the inside and outside. I want something that
opens and closes the door when you push either button
).
If you are showing us a contraption, tells us what it does!
Very few of us know what a Bi-Directional Shift Register is,
so a quick explanation helps greatly.
(A Shift Register has one input and three or more outputs.
When an input is recieved, the output that is on switches off,
and the one to the left or it switches on. A Bi-Directional one
can do it in both directions.)

-Your post has pictures!
Even better, a video! If you're showing a contraption you made, take pictures of it at the default window size (800x480), host on Imgur (or something similar) and put them in your post.
As the saying goes,
Pictures, or it didn't happen.

That's all I have to say.

Thank you for finally bringing some attention into this forums.
Make me proud again and I might as well up both of your ranks (to the right of your post).
